I like thinking about the little things in life that give us boosts of joy. Along those lines, let's think about the sounds in our days. Which ones make you smile? Here's my list...

Here are some of the sounds that make me insanely happy:

*My sons' laughter

*Crickets chirping

*Rain on the roof

*Thunder and lightening (isn't it cozy and romantic!)

*A crackling fireplace

*Jazz

*Coffee brewing in my coffee maker

*The pop of a wine cork makes when you pull it out of the bottle

*Garlic and onions sizzling in a pan of olive oil

*My feet against the pavement during a peaceful jog

*Birds chirping
